The Pas Normal Studios team currently consists of +45 members, who are highly passionate about the brand and the significant growth opportunity we face.

About the job 

In this role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing the social and environmental impact strategy and initiatives within the company and across our value chains. As such, you will:

  • Work closely with the Leadership Team to define the strategic priorities for the organisation with regards to social and environmental impact

  • Identify and engage with the most prominent challenges facing the industry and develop ways to help tackle them

  • Work with each department to define key criteria and goals for improving social and economic impact performance

  • Collaborate with external stakeholders such as the SAC, SBTi and NGO’s to ensure we are aligned with industry leading initiatives

You thrive when navigating the challenges and complexities of the sustainability arena, and can provide high-quality strategic and operational solutions. You are an inclusive leader who masters working collaboratively with suppliers, manufacturers, external stakeholders and colleagues, and you possess a strong understanding of the current affairs within the sustainability arena with a keen eye for detail.

The ideal candidate possesses:

  • +5 years experience leading a sustainability/impact team

  • Understanding of fabrics and fabric sourcing

  • Strong stakeholder management skills and an ability to influence

  • Ability to drive sustainability and transparency through collaboration and communication

  • A strategic mindset and understanding of the importance of doing business right

  • Strong problem-solving drive/"can-do" attitude

In addition, you should be a skilled communicator and change agent with an open mind as you will be working with multiple stakeholders across the organization. You should thrive in a flexible scale-up environment with a high degree of 'learning-as-we-go'. An excellent command of English is a must.

Finally, you are a team player who enjoys supporting the Pas Normal organization to learn and develop. You possess a healthy dose of ambition to learn and develop, too.
